Pin Run Groups and Runs
Testomat.io now allows users to pin up to 6 Run Groups or Runs at the top of the Dashboard. This feature ensures quick access to frequently used or critical test runs, helping teams stay focused on the most relevant tasks. Pin Run Groups or individual Runs directly from the Dashboard. Pinned items appear prominently at the top for easy navigation.Users can pin a maximum of six items at a time.
Use Cases:
Faster Access: Quickly access important or active test runs without searching through lists. Example: Pin ongoing regression tests for easy monitoring during a sprint.
Improved Focus: Keeps high-priority Run Groups or Runs in view, reducing distractions. Example: Pin runs for specific environments or features during critical phases.
Customizable Dashboard: Tailors the Dashboard to individual team workflows and priorities. Example: Pin runs related to production hotfixes or high-impact bugs.
Require Run Group Assignment for Manual Runs
Testomat.io introduces a new setting in Project Settings to enforce Run Group assignment when creating a new manual run. If enabled, users must select a Run Group during manual run creation, ensuring better organization and tracking. Enable or disable the requirement in Project Settings. Run Group assignment becomes mandatory for new manual runs. All manual runs are systematically linked to specific Run Groups. Teams can choose whether to enforce this setting, tailoring it to their workflow needs.
Enhanced Test Filtering and Exclusion in Test Plans
Testomat.io now allows users to refine test selection when creating a test plan by filtering tests and excluding unwanted ones. Tests can be excluded manually by unchecking them one by one or in bulk using TQL queries, providing greater flexibility and control during test plan setup. Deselect individual tests from the filtered list. Exclude multiple tests at once using TQL. Apply filters to narrow down the test list before exclusions.
New UI for Parametrized Tests
Testomat.io has enhanced parameters functionality, enabling users to assign titles to example tables. This improvement provides better clarity and organization when working with scenarios that include multiple example sets. Assign descriptive titles to distinguish between different example tables.
Metadata Collection for Playwright Tests
Testomat.io now supports metadata collection for Playwright tests. When launching Playwright tests with the Testomat.io Reporter, metadata is automatically collected and displayed in the Run Report, giving teams deeper insights into their test executions.
Requires Testomatio Reporter 1.6.7 version.
