Permissions for Labels and Custom Fields
We have introduced permissions for managing labels and custom fields at the project level. Now, if enabled only users with the Owner or Manager role can create, edit, or delete labels and custom fields. This ensures better control over metadata, maintaining consistency and preventing unauthorized modifications. Team members with lower access levels can still use existing labels and custom fields but will not be able to alter them. This feature improves project organization, enhances security, and streamlines collaboration by ensuring structured and standardized test management.
Please note that the Owner and Manager roles should be assigned to users in Project Settings > Users.
UI Font Update
We've made a small but impactful update to the font across the entire UI to enhance readability and provide a more modern, polished look. While this change does not affect functionality, it improves the overall user experience by making text clearer and more visually appealing. Let us know if you have any feedback!
Defects Column in Runs Tab
We've introduced a Defects column in the Runs tab within test and suite detail views. Now, when an issue is linked to a test during execution, it will be automatically reflected in the Runs tab, improving traceability and defect tracking. This enhancement provides better visibility into test results, allowing users to quickly identify and access linked defects for faster debugging. It also enhances reporting by making defect tracking more transparent, ensuring teams can efficiently analyze and resolve issues within their test runs.
